Privacy Policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
This policy describes what ivector collects when you use ivector.co, why we collect it, who else processes it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have written it to match what the site actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical, and we update it when the site changes.
Information you give us
We only receive personal information when you choose to send it, or when someone who knows you introduces you to us. There are three ways that happens.
Contact and team inquiry forms
These collect your first and last name, email address, phone number if you enter one, your company, and whatever you write in the message. We use this to answer you, and for the measurement described further down this page. Submitting a form sends the details to our team by email and sends you an automatic acknowledgement.
If you press Submit and the form stops you because a required field is still empty, and you have already entered a valid email address or phone number, what you have typed so far is sent to our team, marked as unfinished, so we can still follow up if you leave at that point. It is sent once for each email address or phone number, and if it includes an email address it is also recorded in our CRM. Nothing is sent while you are typing, only when you press Submit. You do not get an acknowledgement for it, it is not counted as a lead in our analytics, and it never applies when you are applying for a job.
Newsletter
This collects your email address only, and unlike the forms above it is stored on a subscriber list so we can send future updates. You can ask us to remove you at any time and we will.
Referrals
Our referral page lets someone introduce a company to us. It collects the referrer’s name and email address and, if they give it, how they know the person they are introducing. About that person it collects their name, email address, company, phone number if entered, what they need, and any note the referrer adds. The referrer must confirm that the person knows their details are being passed on.
The details go to our team by email, and the person introduced is recorded in our CRM with a note of who introduced them. We use their details only to contact them about the introduction, and the site sends them nothing automatically: the first message comes from a person on our team, who will say who introduced us. The referrer gets one email confirming we received it and is not added to our CRM. If someone introduced you and you would rather we did not hold your details, email us and we will delete them.
Information collected automatically
IP address
When you submit a form, our server reads your IP address to limit how many submissions can come from one address per hour, which is how we keep the forms from being abused. It is held briefly in server memory for that check, is not written to a database, is not included in any email, and disappears when the server restarts. Separately, our analytics provider receives your IP address and uses it to approximate your location, as described below. When you send the contact form, a team inquiry or the contact form on a service or industry page, our server may also pass your IP address to Meta as part of the advertising measurement described below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. It records page views and a small number of named events: a lead event when a form is submitted, including which form it was, a separate referral event when the referral form is submitted, a signup event for the newsletter, a click event recording which AI assistant you chose if you use the Ask AI feature, and a click event when you click or tap one of our phone numbers, recording only which part of the page the number was in (the navigation, the footer, or the page content). We do not send your name, email address or message content to Google Analytics.
Session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, so we can find the pages and forms that confuse people. It records your clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement and the pages you view, which lets us replay a visit and see heatmaps of where people click. Whatever you type into our forms is masked in your browser, so recordings never show it. Each visit is tagged with the same marketing attribution the cookies below record: campaign tags, advertising click identifiers, the referring site and the page you landed on.
If you send the contact form, a team inquiry, or the contact form on a service or industry page (but not a job application, a referral, or a form you did not finish), we link that visit’s recording to the name, email address, phone number and company you entered, so we can see how you found and used the site before you got in touch. Like any service your browser connects to, Microsoft receives your IP address. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. The site sets the following.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_fbp, _fbc | Set by the Meta Pixel for the advertising measurement described below. _fbp identifies your browser to Meta, and _fbc records the click identifier when you arrive from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram. | 90 days |
iv_attr_first, iv_attr_last | Marketing attribution. Records how you first and most recently arrived: campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid), the external site that referred you, the page you landed on, and a timestamp. If you later submit a form, this is attached to the internal notification so we know which campaign produced the inquiry. It is never shown to you and is shared only in the ways described on this page. | 90 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and sessions. These are Google’s cookies, not ours, and are governed by Google’s own retention settings. | Up to 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Set by Microsoft Clarity for session recording. _clck recognises your browser across visits and _clsk joins the pages of one visit into a single recording. Microsoft may also set cookies on its own domains. | Up to 1 year |
Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie.
Your choices about cookies
We should be straightforward about this: analytics, attribution and advertising cookies are currently set when you arrive, and the site does not yet show a cookie consent banner. None of these cookies are required for the site to work, so you can refuse or remove them without losing any functionality. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, browse in a private window, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also email us and we will exclude you.
Advertising
We use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to inquiries and, if we choose, to show our ads to people who have visited the site. On each page you view, the pixel tells Meta which page it was. When you send the contact form, a team inquiry or the contact form on a service or industry page, the pixel also reports a lead, and our server reports the same lead to Meta directly through Meta’s Conversions API, so it is counted even when a browser blocks the pixel. That server report includes your email address, and your name and phone number if you gave them, each hashed with SHA-256 before it leaves our server, so Meta receives a code it can match against its own records rather than the details themselves. It also includes your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the page you were on, the Meta cookies listed above, and the Facebook click identifier if you arrived from one of our ads. We never send Meta the content of your message, and we never report a job application, a referral, a form you did not finish or a newsletter signup to Meta. Meta processes this information under its own Privacy Policy and may use it to improve its advertising services.
When we advertise on Google or LinkedIn, we measure those campaigns with the conversion tags those platforms provide, loaded through Google Tag Manager. They record the pages you view and when an inquiry is sent, with a random identifier for that inquiry, and like any web request they receive your IP address and browser details. They may set cookies of their own, such as Google’s _gcl_au or LinkedIn’s li_fat_id. We do not send them your name, email address, phone number or message.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of this advertising measurement: the site does not load the Meta Pixel, our server does not report your inquiry to Meta, and we set up the Google and LinkedIn tags to respect the same signal.
Who else processes your information
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising measurement described above, we do not share it for advertising. We also rely on these service providers:
- Resend delivers our email and holds the newsletter subscriber list.
- Google provides Tag Manager and Analytics 4.
- Microsoft provides Clarity, the session recording tool described above.
- HubSpot is our CRM. When you send an inquiry, the contact details and message are recorded there so we can follow up and keep track of the conversation. If someone introduces you through the referral page, the details they gave us about you are recorded there, with a note of who introduced you.
- Vercel hosts the site and therefore processes ordinary web request data.
- Meta receives the page views and leads described under Advertising.
- Google and LinkedIn receive the conversion measurement described under Advertising when we run campaigns with them.
Each of these providers is bound by its own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep things
- Form submissions live in our email as long as we keep the correspondence, which is normally as long as needed to serve you and to keep ordinary business records.
- Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
- Attribution cookies expire 90 days after they are set.
- The rate limiting record of your IP address lasts about an hour.
- Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
- Session recordings are retained according to Microsoft Clarity’s retention rules.
We do not run a customer database on this website. Apart from the newsletter list, nothing you submit is stored in our own systems beyond the email itself.
Your rights and choices
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can unsubscribe from email at any time. Email info@ivector.co and we will handle it. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in California, this includes the rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. The advertising measurement described above may count as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, and you can opt out of it by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this includes the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will remove it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can reach the inboxes that receive your inquiries. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as passwords or financial account details through a website form.
Changes
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
